Dallas Cowboys Training Camp 2010

Posted by admin on Jul 23, 2010 in Sports |

It’s that time again. The National Football League is gearing up for training camp to formally prep for the 2010 season, and America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys are kicking things off in San Antonio, Texas.

Not only do they own the third toughest regular season football schedule this year (more on this later) the Cowboys will split 2010 training camp between two camp cities. It kicks off Friday at the Alamodome in San Antonio followed with the first offcial practice Saturday July 23 through August 6.

In two weeks the Cowboys travel to Canton, Ohio to kick off the presason  against the Cincinnatti Bengals for the 2010 Hall of Fame Game August 8. Then they high-tail it to cooler winds in Oxnard, California to commence the second half of camp through August 14-27.

Cowboys’ owner and President Jerry Jones, and head coach Wade Phillips surely left Dallas-Fort Worth in good spirits. All players are ready to go. That’s a good sign, literally, as news broke rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant has agreed with the Cowboys on a deal.

It’s way too early to even determine where the Cowboys are right now as a team. But, let’s be real inquiring football minds wanna know and the questions are already lingering over their heads right now about the end goal of winning it all this year. So no doubt it is vital that everbody is focused and on board with this organization. They still need to meet these expectations and win more [than one] playoff games this postseason.

And whatever work requires to be the team repping the NFC at Super Bowl XVL at Cowboys Staduim in Arlington, Texas February 6, 2011.
